Kronologi Dirang

Kira-kira jam 6.00 petang semalam, aku dan dua rakan wartawan, Salman Hamat dari Harian Metro dan Mohd Iskandar Ibrahim dari Berita Harian yang sedang elok meneguk minuman di restoran mamak, menerima panggilan telefon mengenai pengesahan identiti mayat yang ditemui 8 Mac lalu.

Mayat itu disahkan adalah Nurul Nadirah Abdullah, 5 tahun yang dilaporkan hilang sejak 1 Mac 2012 kira-kira jam 11 pagi. Ia hasil ujian DNA yang dijalankan Jabatan Kimia dan sampel dari ibu kandungnya, mengesahkan mayat rentung itu adalah Nurul Nadirah.

Berikut adalah kronologi kejadian:

What A TRAGEDY !!!!!

JOHOR BAHRU 12 Mac – Polis hari ini mengesahkan mayat rentung yang ditemui di sebuah ladang kelapa sawit di Nusa Damai, Pasir Gudang di sini adalah Nurul Nadirah Abdullah, 5, kanak-kanak yang hilang dari rumah sejak 1 Mac lalu.

Ketua Polis Daerah Seri Alam, Supritendan Roslan Zainuddin berkata, pengesahan itu berdasarkan hasil ujian asid deoksiribonukleik (DNA) yang dibuat ke atas mayat rentung yang ditemui sebelum ini.

Menurut polis, mayat rentung tersebut ditemui pada 8 Mac lalu. – UTUSAN

Korang pernah makan eskrem kapit roti ? Dari awal lagi penulis merasakan, ada sesuatu yang tidak kena dengan skim “Rumah Pertamaku”, bernilai RM400,000.00 yang dilancarkan oleh DS Najib.

Penulis beranggapan ini adalah skim yang hendak menolong pembeli, tetapi tidak masuk akal dari segi harga rumah dan syarat-syarat pinjaman yang diletakan oleh Bank Negara melalui bank-bank peminjam.

So this is what it had came to.. My normal life as a boring guy who earn a living from nine to five has ended. CHAPTER 8 THE GIRL WITH THE SCARY EYEBROW

It’s 10.30 am, and I was standing on a yard outside a wooden house where Fatimah’s family lives.

It’s my first time being in Kedah, and so far I think visit is okay but nothing fancy.. maybe the average first impression was caused by the hotel I’m staying in.

For reasons which only God and my taxi driver knew, of all the good places I can afford in Kedah, I ended up renting a room at a budget hotel - Flora Inn. Don’t get me wrong, the hotel was.. errr … okay I guess. It’s been awhile since I last seen a toilet where you have to squat!.

Maybe God was punishing me for receiving payment from the Jesuits, or maybe it’s because I was looking shabby when I boarded the flight to Langkawi on my way to Kedah. I was merely wearing my favorite t-shirt and a khaki trouser during my first visit to this island. When the taxi driver asked me where I would like to go, I merely told him to drive me to any hotel in Kedah with the biggest room.
