Mr.Lam got involved with the Pangs by coincidence. His son was working as junior legal assistant for a firm who assisted the Pangs to acquire a 5 acre land in Jerejak Island. Mr.Lam on the other hand was running a modest construction company. For many years before knowing the Pangs, Mr.Lam was able to secure several deals to build mainly shop lots for several development companies.

Being a good son as he was, Mr.Lam’s son informed him about the Pangs’ intention to develop the land into a resort to compete against a four star resort which had already been operating there since 2003. Mr.Lam saw this as an opportunity to expand his résumé beyond building shop lots. He was planning to impress the Pangs and hopefully at least be contracted as one of many sub-contractors that will be involved in the project.

Once upon a time in an island far far away.

A handsome prince was kidnapped from his castle by a very nasty dragon and was imprisoned in a very tall tower. At first, the prince tried to talk his way out from the castle but it turned out the dragon can talk back too. To make matter worse, the dragon also turned out to be a female dragon and thus he realized there no way to win a quarrel against a female dragon who can talk back.

So the prince adopted the strategy which had been practiced by men from his kingdom since ages ago. As the men would wait until the wives falls asleep before watching DVD porn in the dead of the night, the prince too will wait for the dragon to snore before sneaking his way out from the dragon's watchful eyes.

The things you see when people fight, and the gush of fear that hits them. That’s me in the center of the ring. That’s me, in fear. Like a coward. And its my first time in the ring. Being a target. And wailing like a walrus in fear.

My name is Muhammad. In the internet I am known as AfterDark.

This is my story.

Kronologi Dirang

Kira-kira jam 6.00 petang semalam, aku dan dua rakan wartawan, Salman Hamat dari Harian Metro dan Mohd Iskandar Ibrahim dari Berita Harian yang sedang elok meneguk minuman di restoran mamak, menerima panggilan telefon mengenai pengesahan identiti mayat yang ditemui 8 Mac lalu.

Mayat itu disahkan adalah Nurul Nadirah Abdullah, 5 tahun yang dilaporkan hilang sejak 1 Mac 2012 kira-kira jam 11 pagi. Ia hasil ujian DNA yang dijalankan Jabatan Kimia dan sampel dari ibu kandungnya, mengesahkan mayat rentung itu adalah Nurul Nadirah.

Berikut adalah kronologi kejadian:

JOHOR BAHRU 12 Mac – Polis hari ini mengesahkan mayat rentung yang ditemui di sebuah ladang kelapa sawit di Nusa Damai, Pasir Gudang di sini adalah Nurul Nadirah Abdullah, 5, kanak-kanak yang hilang dari rumah sejak 1 Mac lalu.

Ketua Polis Daerah Seri Alam, Supritendan Roslan Zainuddin berkata, pengesahan itu berdasarkan hasil ujian asid deoksiribonukleik (DNA) yang dibuat ke atas mayat rentung yang ditemui sebelum ini.

Menurut polis, mayat rentung tersebut ditemui pada 8 Mac lalu. – UTUSAN

Korang pernah makan eskrem kapit roti ? So this is what it had came to.. My normal life as a boring guy who earn a living from nine to five has ended. Since AnwarGate 1998 I spent a great deal of time covering my tracks to make sure 'AfterDark' only exists in the make belief world of world wide web. But now, in just a single month, people I have tried to avoid suddenly appeared from the realm of Internet searching for me.

CHAPTER 8 THE GIRL WITH THE SCARY EYEBROW

It’s 10.30 am, and I was standing on a yard outside a wooden house where Fatimah’s family lives.

It’s my first time being in Kedah, and so far I think visit is okay but nothing fancy.. maybe the average first impression was caused by the hotel I’m staying in.

For reasons which only God and my taxi driver knew, of all the good places I can afford in Kedah, I ended up renting a room at a budget hotel - Flora Inn. Don’t get me wrong, the hotel was.. errr … okay I guess. It’s been awhile since I last seen a toilet where you have to squat!.

Maybe God was punishing me for receiving payment from the Jesuits, or maybe it’s because I was looking shabby when I boarded the flight to Langkawi on my way to Kedah. I was merely wearing my favorite t-shirt and a khaki trouser during my first visit to this island. When the taxi driver asked me where I would like to go, I merely told him to drive me to any hotel in Kedah with the biggest room.
